<li>Qualifications: BALLB Preferably: Strong understanding of service contracts sell side and buy side and 5-10 years of experience in a contract review and negotiations legal role with a focus on consulting/professional services/technology aspects Job Description: 1. Drafting, vetting, reviewing, negotiating contracts with focus on managed services contracts, non-disclosure agreements, service contracts, vendor contracts; 2. Contract redlining and negotiations of MSA, LCA, GFA, Professional services contracts, software license agreements, NDAs, MOUs, etc. 3. Assessing the of new and emerging laws that impact technology solutions of the organisation and provide proactive recommendations to ensure compliance; 4. Advising on data privacy and security issues, ensuring compliance with relevant data protection laws; 5. Drafting contract appendices and reviewing agreements like data processing agreements and compliance exhibits; 6. Stakeholder management, Efficient tracking and management skills for all matters with timely and regular briefs being sent to the General Counsel for all matters; 7. Review of terms and conditions of the contract to verify that they are in compliance with organisation’s policies and all applicable laws and identify any potential/threats of litigation; 8. Ability to manage multiple projects/priorities, work efficiently under pressure and consistently meet tight deadlines; ? Client/internal stakeholder management skills; 9. Comfortable with working on fast pace and functioning in a hands-on environment; Fluent in verbal and written English;</li>

<p>The incumbent will undertake the anticipation, review and mitigation of risk, managing and taking strategic decisions in respect of litigations and providing support to internal user departments by providing legal advisory and opinions.</p>
<h4><b>A purpose driven role for you</b></h4>
<p>To anticipate, identify, evaluate, prioritize legal exposures and risks and to implement steps to eliminate/minimize, monitor and control such risks.</p>
<p>b. To conduct root cause analysis of any risk presently run by the organisation and devise methods to mitigate those risks.</p>
<p>c. Dedicated focus towards preparing SOPs, down lining and ensuring successful implementation of the processes for termination of channel partners and recovery of outstanding to ensure risk control.</p>
<p>e. Budgeting in relation to new matters and existing matters.</p>
<h4><b>A Day in the life</b></h4>
<p>a. Pre-Litigation stage – Devising risk mitigation plan, anticipating litigation risk and monitoring communication, maintaining all relevant documentation to ensure protection during litigation stages. Endeavouring resolution of issues through legal notices/replies to notices.</p>
<p>b. Litigation stage – Reviewing evidence, documents available, filings and advising on recourses available. Strategizing the way forward. Targeting closure of frivolous litigation and making effective usage of ADR methods through mediation and conciliation to optimise the use of resources.</p>
<p>c. Ongoing litigations -Reviewing the pending litigation strategies and advice modification basis legal evolutions/latest case laws.<br />Ensuring timely and accurate filing of legal processes. Maintaining MIS of litigations and proper case management system.</p>
<p>d. Effective and proper coordination with external lawyers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely reply, filing and proper follow up /conclusion of matters. Identifying the effective lawyers for obtaining effective orders / judgments.</p>
<p>e. Vetting of pleadings, agreements, negotiating and finalization of agreements. Internalising and ensuring compliance with all terms of order/awards or settlement agreements.</p>
<p>h. Ensuring accuracy of billings and timely payment. Preparing litigation budget and assisting on provisioning for high value litigations. Maintaining proper audit trail.</p>
<p>i. Keeping the organisation abreast of impending or latest legislative update.</p>
<p>j. Advising on any business/strategic changes ensuring compliance with current and impending legislative changes.</p>
<h4><b>Academic Qualification &amp; Experience</b></h4>
<p>● B.A. LLB<br />● 7+ years</p>
<h4><b>Technical Skills/Knowledge</b></h4>
<p>● Have gained extensive knowledge of various facets of law and how to utilize the same at organization level. Keep myself abreast with the latest amendments, legislations, industry norms.</p>
