We are looking for a skilled Linux Security & Automation Engineer to strengthen our infrastructure security and compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Linux systems, security hardening using CIS benchmarks, and automation to ensure consistent and secure environments.

Manage and administer Linux operating systems such as CentOS, Ubuntu, SUSE, and Red Hat using command-line tools.
Implement and automate CIS (Center for Internet Security) benchmarks to enforce Linux security best practices across environments.
Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to apply CIS profiles and security controls consistently.
Integrate automation solutions with existing systems to streamline security and compliance operations.
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including deployment guides, operational procedures, and compliance reports.
Ensure adherence to security standards and support audits by tracking and reporting compliance status.
Manage SSH configurations, key management, and secure remote access practices.
Monitor emerging security threats, industry trends, and updates to CIS benchmarks.
Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve security and performance issues.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to support secure system operations.
Extensive hands-on experience with Linux administration (CentOS, Ubuntu, SUSE, Red Hat).
Strong understanding of CIS benchmarks and experience implementing security hardening controls.
Proficiency in Bash scripting for automation and system administration tasks; basic Python knowledge is a plus.
Solid knowledge of SSH security, configuration, and key management.
Familiarity with additional security tools and practices such as vulnerability scanning and intrusion detection.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Linux certifications such as RHCE or equivalent are preferred.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and additional automation frameworks is an added advantage.
