About UNITECH
UNITECH is a Jamshedpur-based industrial supply company dealing in centrifugal pumps, motors, valves, panels, pump spares and allied industrial equipment. We work with customers across steel plants, power plants, water systems, contractors, workshops and industrial units.
We are looking for a sincere, confident and hardworking Sales Engineer who wants to build a serious career in industrial B2B sales.
This is not a desk-only sales job. This is a field + technical + relationship-driven role where you will learn how industries actually work.

Role Overview
As a Sales Engineer at UNITECH, you will be responsible for generating enquiries, visiting customers, understanding their requirements, coordinating quotations, following up on offers and helping close orders for industrial pumps, spares, motors, valves and related equipment.
You do not need to be an expert from day one, but you must have a science/technical background, willingness to learn, comfort with field visits, and the discipline to follow up properly with customers.

Key Responsibilities
Visit industrial customers, contractors, workshops and plant sites.
Generate new enquiries for pumps, spares, motors, valves, panels and industrial equipment.
Understand basic customer requirements such as pump application, flow, head, motor rating, fluid type, quantity and urgency.
Coordinate with the internal pre-sales/back-office team for quotations.
Follow up with customers for pending enquiries, quotations, orders and payments.
Build relationships with maintenance, purchase, stores, project and utility departments.
Track competitors, pricing, customer feedback and market opportunities.
Maintain daily visit reports and enquiry updates.
Support urgent breakdown and shutdown requirements from customers.
Learn product basics and gradually develop technical confidence in pumps and industrial equipment.

Mandatory Eligibility
Candidate must have a Science or technical educational background.
Acceptable backgrounds include 12th Science, ITI, Diploma, B.Sc., B.Tech, Mechanical, Electrical, or related technical fields.
Candidate must be comfortable with field visits in Jamshedpur, Adityapur, Gamharia and nearby industrial areas.
Candidate must be willing to learn technical products such as pumps, motors, valves, panels and industrial spares.

Preferred / Good to Have
Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical or related field will be advantageous.
Prior experience in B2B sales, field sales, industrial sales or technical sales will be an added advantage.
Experience dealing with industrial customers, contractors, steel plants, workshops or manufacturing units will be preferred.
Own two-wheeler preferred.
Freshers with a strong science/technical background and willingness to do field sales may also be considered.
