Server Administrator Full Time

looking for a skilled Server Administrator to join our team and manage end-to-end server operations across Linux, Windows, and cloud environments. This position is also open in our Talent Acquisition department to support growing infrastructure and operational requirements.

Job Summary

As a Server Administrator, you will be responsible for managing servers, ensuring network stability, maintaining backups, supporting users, and troubleshooting issues across cloud and on-premise environments. You will handle both Linux and Windows systems, database servers, security updates, and infrastructure performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Linux & Windows servers hosted on AWS and other cloud platforms.

• Administer Active Directory, mail servers, and user accounts.

• Perform daily backups of mail servers, ADS servers, DB servers, and critical devices.

• Provide primary support for email clients (MS Outlook, Outlook Express), SAP, Windows, and Linux desktops.

• Ensure smooth operation of the entire IT infrastructure, local networks, and DC-DR site connectivity.

• Troubleshoot technical issues related to cloud mail, servers, internet connectivity, and file-sharing services (NFS, UNFS, GlusterFS, SFTP, VSFTPD, FTPS, Samba).

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly remote backups of web source files and MySQL/MS SQL databases.

• Configure, manage, and optimize MySQL & MS SQL databases including upgrades, replication, backup, and restoration.

• Manage web applications based on .NET, PHP, and other technologies across production, staging, and development environments.

• Handle system tasks such as user management, disk utilization, file system maintenance, and performance tuning.

• Maintain antivirus servers (SEPM) and ensure the latest definition updates.

• Manage operator connectivity across different service providers.

• Communicate with clients via email, phone, and other channels.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Hands-on experience in Server Administration (Linux/Windows/VMware).

• Strong hardware and networking knowledge.

• Experience with server installation and configuration (FTP, FTPS, DNS, DHCP, Syslog, Squid, NFS, CIFS/Samba, Apache, Nginx, HAProxy, Postfix, Sendmail, etc.).

• Knowledge of cloud servers and tools (AWS, Azure, RAID/LVM, Munin, Nagios, Tomcat, IPTABLES, HA Cluster).

• Experience with Docker (preferred).

• Certifications such as RHCE, CCNA, MCSE are an added advantage.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
