Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
Manage deployment workflows across Development, QA, Staging, and Production environments.
Implement automated testing, artifact management, and release processes.
Ensure smooth and reliable software delivery through continuous integration and deployment practices.
Cloud Infrastructure Management
Deploy, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP, including compute, storage, networking, and databases.
Handle day-to-day cloud operations such as performance tuning, scalability, backups, patching, and cost optimization.
Design and maintain highly available, resilient, and scalable infrastructure architectures.
Support infrastructure planning and environment optimization initiatives.
Containers & Orchestration
Build, manage, and optimize Docker-based environments.
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters (EKS / AKS / GKE / self-hosted).
Manage Helm charts, ingress controllers, and container orchestration workflows.
Exposure to service mesh technologies is an added advantage.
Infrastructure as Code & Automation
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
Automate repetitive operational tasks using Bash, Python, or PowerShell scripting.
Ensure infrastructure consistency through version-controlled and reproducible deployment practices.
Monitoring, Logging & Observability
Configure and maintain monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, ELK Stack, etc.
Build dashboards, alerts, and reporting systems for infrastructure and application health monitoring.
Troubleshoot production incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and provide performance improvement recommendations.
Security & Compliance
Implement best practices for IAM, secrets management, and infrastructure security.
Ensure secure CI/CD pipelines and cloud operations aligned with organizational standards.
Collaborate with InfoSec teams for audits, compliance checks, and security assessments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
3–4 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer or Cloud Engineer.
Strong experience in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
Good hands-on knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
Strong understanding of Docker and Kubernetes ecosystems.
Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation / Pulumi).
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
Strong understanding of Linux systems, networking, and system administration fundamentals.
Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills across infrastructure, deployments, and production environments.
Experience in infrastructure designing, architecture planning, scalability, and environment optimization.
Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and incident management practices.
Nice to Have
Exposure to hybrid cloud or on-premises infrastructure environments.
Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
Understanding of cloud cost optimization and FinOps practices.
Experience working with distributed systems or microservices architectures.
Exposure to DevSecOps practices and security automation.
