looking for a highly driven and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team and support both our editorial and talent acquisition departments. The ideal candidate will focus on acquiring new clients, managing lead funnels, and driving consistent revenue growth while helping enhance client websites with high-quality content such as blogs, articles, and press releases.
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing inbound and outbound business opportunities, nurturing prospect relationships, and converting qualified leads into long-term clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions, prepare proposals, and ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
Manage and convert inbound leads from marketing campaigns, website inquiries, and referrals.
Execute outbound outreach through LinkedIn, email campaigns, and targeted prospect lists to generate new opportunities.
Own the entire sales pipeline: track leads, update deal stages, and maintain accurate data using CRM tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Zoho.
Deliver effective sales pitches, presentations, and proposals based on client needs and business goals.
Negotiate and close deals to meet monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects, stakeholders, and key decision-makers.
Conduct market research to identify new business segments, trends, and competitive insights.
Collaborate with marketing and account management teams to improve lead quality and enhance conversion rates.
Prepare regular reports on lead performance, pipelines, and closures for leadership review.
4–5 years of experience in Business Development or Sales, preferably within a digital marketing or agency environment.
Strong expertise in handling inbound leads and converting them into long-term clients.
Proficiency in CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, etc.) for pipeline management and reporting.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to understand client needs and propose effective digital marketing solutions.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management capabilities.
Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of performing in a fast-paced environment.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret CRM and sales data to make informed decisions.
