Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Plant Head to lead our automotive manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the automotive industry, with a strong background in plant operations, process optimization, quality management, and team leadership. The Plant Head will oversee end-to-end plant functions, ensuring operational excellence, safety compliance, and delivery of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide strategic leadership and direction for all plant operations, ensuring alignment with company goals and industry standards.
Oversee production planning, scheduling, and execution to meet delivery timelines and quality standards.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing processes, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement.
Ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental regulations, fostering a safe working environment.
Maintain high standards of quality control and ensure compliance with automotive industry quality certifications (e.g., IATF 16949).
Lead, develop, and motivate a high-performance team across manufacturing, maintenance, quality, and logistics departments.
Collaborate with R&D, supply chain, and sales teams to support new product launches and customer requirements.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to achieve operational excellence.
Manage plant budgets, resource planning, and capital investments effectively.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and customers.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or related field.
15+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Extensive knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes, quality standards, and industry regulations.
Proven track record of managing large teams and complex operations.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process optimization tools.
