Position Overview: Backend Developer / Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated Backend Developer / Software Engineer with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for building scalable, high-performance applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems using modern technologies and cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust, scalable, and high-performance backend applications

• Apply strong algorithmic and logical thinking to solve complex problems

• Rapidly prototype and iterate on backend solutions

• Write clean, optimized, reusable, and scalable code

• Work confidently with asynchronous programming concepts

• Design and consume RESTful APIs within microservices architectures

• Test, debug, and refactor code to improve performance and maintainability

• Implement application security and data protection best practices

• Perform high-level and low-level system design

• Tune application performance and optimize backend processes

• Work with relational databases such as MySQL

• Integrate and manage NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Redis, or similar

• Collaborate in an Agile development environment

• Create and maintain technical documentation

• Write unit and integration test cases

• Take ownership and thrive in a startup-style environment

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• Minimum 2+ years of professional experience in backend development

• Proficiency in Python, PHP, or Node.js (knowledge of multiple languages is a plus)

• Hands-on experience writing well-architected, high-performance code in Python or Golang

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

• Understanding of building scalable and reliable cloud-based systems

• Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker (preferred)

• Knowledge of Python web frameworks such as Django or Flask

• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage end-to-end feature development

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Creative thinker with the ability to propose innovative technical solutions
