Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Networking:
Install & configure Wi-Fi routers (TP-Link/Ubiquiti) in escalator machine rooms
Run Ethernet cabling (Cat6) between escalator controllers and monitoring PCs
Set up 4G/5G cellular backup routers for failover internet
Configure VPN for secure remote access
Monitor network uptime and latency
Hardware:
Deploy & maintain Windows mini PCs (HP/Dell/Intel N100)
Install UPS for power backup (15+ minutes runtime)
Ensure auto-recovery (BIOS settings, watchdog timers)
Maintain spare parts (routers, cables, SSDs, power adapters)
Maintenance:
Troubleshoot network/hardware failures
Keep IP address registry and network diagrams
Coordinate with escalator team for .exe file exports

OS Windows (10/11) deployment & configuration
Tools Cable tester, Wi-Fi analyzer, remote access (TeamViewer/RDP)
Qualifications
Education: Diploma/B.E. in IT, CS, Electronics, or Electrical
Experience: 1-5 years in IT networking or field engineering
Certifications: CCNA / Network+ (preferred)
Physical: Comfortable in escalator machine rooms (ladders, confined spaces)
