Job Description
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and empathetic Academic Counsellor to drive student enrolments for our online learning programs. You will be the first point of contact for prospective students and parents — guiding them through course offerings, addressing objections, and converting leads into paid enrolments.
Key Responsibilities
Handle inbound and outbound calls/chats with prospective students and parents
Understand student needs and recommend the right course or program
Follow up on leads systematically via CRM to ensure no lead goes cold
Meet daily, weekly, and monthly enrolment targets
Coordinate with the marketing team on lead quality feedback
Maintain accurate records of all interactions in the CRM
Achieve and exceed assigned revenue and conversion targets
Requirements
1–3 years of experience in inside sales, counselling, or tele-sales (EdTech preferred)
Strong communication skills in Hindi and English
Comfortable working in a target-driven environment
Basic familiarity with CRM tools (LeadSquared, Salesforce, or similar)
Graduate in any discipline; education or counselling background is a plus
