About the Role
We are hiring a dynamic, self-driven Admissions Officer to lead the end-to-end admissions function at our premium ICSE school in Mumbai. This is a high-ownership role for someone who thrives in a parent-facing, growth-focused environment and has a proven track record of driving enrolments at a reputed K-12 institution.
The right candidate will combine sharp lead management with warm parent counselling, strong marketing instincts, and the maturity to represent a premium school brand at events, exhibitions, and community touchpoints across Mumbai and Pan India.
Key Responsibilities
K-12 Admissions & Enrolment
Manage the complete admissions cycle from enquiry to enrolment across all grades (Nursery to Grade 12)
Conduct school tours, parent counselling sessions, and follow-up meetings with prospective families
Oversee application processing, assessments, interviews, and offer-letter workflows
Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly enrolment targets aligned with the annual admission plan

Lead Management & Enquiry Conversion
Own the admissions CRM: capture, qualify, nurture, and convert every lead
Track funnel metrics (enquiry-to-tour, tour-to-application, application-to-enrolment) and drive continuous improvement
Design and execute follow-up cadences across calls, WhatsApp, email, and in-person meetings
Analyse conversion patterns and share weekly/monthly dashboards with school leadership

Branding, Marketing & Outreach
Partner with the marketing team on digital campaigns, school open days, admission events, and community initiatives
Represent the school at education fairs, exhibitions, and residential society activations
Coordinate content, collateral, and parent testimonials for admissions marketing
Identify and execute local brand-building opportunities in West and Central Mumbai

Institutional Tie-ups & Partnerships
Build and maintain relationships with feeder preschools, residential societies, corporate HRs, and relocation partners
Develop referral networks with paediatricians, tutoring centres, and community influencers
Structure and manage MoUs with partner institutions

Parent Experience
Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective and newly enrolled families
Ensure every parent interaction reflects the premium positioning of the school
Handle parent queries, concerns, and escalations with empathy and professionalism
Coordinate onboarding and first-day experience for new admissions

Candidate Profile
Must-Haves
Minimum 5 years of admissions experience at a reputed CBSE, ICSE, IB, or Cambridge school
Proven track record of achieving/exceeding enrolment targets in a K-12 setting
Strong understanding of the Mumbai K-12 market and parent psychology in premium school segments
Excellent spoken and written English; Hindi and Marathi are a strong plus
Confident presentation skills and warmth in one-on-one parent counselling
Proficient with CRM tools, MS Office, and admissions dashboards

Preferred
Prior experience at an ICSE or IB continuum school in Mumbai
Existing relationships with feeder preschools, corporate HRs, and expat/relocation networks
Exposure to digital admissions marketing and lead-nurture automation

Other Requirements
Willingness to travel within Mumbai regularly and Pan India occasionally for admission fairs and outreach
Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline; specialisation in Education, Marketing, or Communications is a plus
