Backend Developer: PHP and Laravel

looking for a skilled Backend Developer (PHP & Laravel) to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing scalable web applications while working closely with designers, frontend developers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using the Laravel framework

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions

• Write clean, secure, and efficient code following industry best practices

• Design and maintain database schemas and optimize queries for performance

• Build and consume RESTful APIs for third-party integrations

• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues efficiently

• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and speed

• Stay updated with the latest PHP and Laravel trends and technologies

• Manage tasks effectively with strong organizational and time-management skills

Required Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in PHP with hands-on experience in Laravel

• Good understanding of MVC architecture and modern PHP development principles

• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL and database design concepts

• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems

• Understanding of RESTful API design and integration

• Basic knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript); experience with Vue.js or React is a plus

• Familiarity with server environments such as Apache, Nginx, or cPanel

• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
