Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct meetings with clients to understand business goals and requirements.

• Translate business needs into clear, detailed, and actionable technical specifications.

• Analyze current business processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.

• Create process models, document workflows, and develop user stories for project development.

• Assist in project planning, including scope definition, scheduling, and resource allocation.

• Collaborate with project managers to track progress, manage risks, and ensure on-time delivery.

• Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support business decisions and strategic planning.

• Prepare reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders.

• Work closely with business units, IT teams, and vendors to ensure alignment on project objectives.

• Act as a liaison between business and IT, managing expectations and resolving issues.

• Develop test cases, perform system testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Troubleshoot issues and ensure solutions meet both business needs and quality standards.

• Maintain thorough documentation, including process maps, user guides, and training materials.

• Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing support for new systems and technologies.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in business analysis, preferably in an IT environment.

• Strong knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

• Proficiency in tools like JIRA and Visio.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with technical and non-technical teams.

• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.

• Experience with ERP systems, CRM platforms, or cloud-based solutions is a plus.
