Business Development Head – Multi-Specialty Hospital
Location: Apex multi speciality hospital, bellahalli main road, near Reva university, sathanur, Bebgaluru, 64.

Reports To: Chief Executive Officer / Hospital Director

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Head to drive growth, expand market presence, and strengthen strategic partnerships.
Position Summary : The Business Development Head will be responsible for developing and executing business growth strategies, increasing patient volumes, enhancing referral networks, building corporate relationships, and identifying new revenue opportunities. The role requires strong leadership, healthcare industry knowledge, and excellent relationship management skills.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning & GrowthDevelop and implement comprehensive business development strategies aligned with the hospital’s growth objectives.
Identify new business opportunities, service lines, and market expansion initiatives.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and growth opportunities.
Prepare annual business development plans, budgets, and performance targets.
Referral & Physician Network DevelopmentBuild and strengthen relationships with referring physicians, clinics, and healthcare providers.
Develop programs to increase referrals across specialties.
Coordinate with clinical departments to improve outreach and engagement activities.
Corporate & Institutional PartnershipsEstablish partnerships with corporate organizations, insurance providers, TPAs, government agencies, and healthcare networks.
Negotiate and manage corporate healthcare contracts and wellness programs.
Expand institutional and international patient referral channels.
Marketing & Brand DevelopmentCollaborate with marketing teams to enhance hospital visibility and brand positioning.
Support digital marketing, community outreach, health camps, and awareness initiatives.
Represent the hospital at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.
Revenue Growth & Performance ManagementMonitor business development KPIs, patient acquisition metrics, and revenue targets.
Develop strategies to improve occupancy, service utilization, and profitability.
Generate regular management reports and business performance analyses.
Team LeadershipLead, mentor, and develop the business development team.
Foster a high-performance, target-driven culture.
Coordinate cross-functional initiatives with clinical, operations, finance, and marketing departments.
QualificationsMaster’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Healthcare Management, Marketing, or related field.
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Marketing, or equivalent.
Additional certifications in healthcare management or business development are desirable.
Experience8–15 years of experience in business development, sales, healthcare marketing, or hospital administration.
Minimum 5 years in a leadership role within a multi-specialty hospital, healthcare organization, or healthcare services company.
Proven track record of achieving revenue growth and building strategic partnerships.
Skills & CompetenciesStrong business acumen and strategic thinking.
Excellent networking, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations, insurance, TPAs, and referral management.
Strong analytical and financial management capabilities.
Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in CRM systems, MS Office, and healthcare information systems.
