Job Description
Uptick Social is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to help grow our marketing agency by acquiring high-value clients and building long-term relationships. This role is ideal for someone with strong sales, negotiation, and client management skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, approach, and onboard high-ticket clients for Uptick Social’s marketing services.
Generate leads through networking, referrals, outbound outreach, and other business development activities.
Conduct client meetings, presentations, and sales pitches to close new business.
Understand client requirements and propose tailored marketing solutions.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
Act as the primary point of contact for key clients and ensure excellent client servicing.
Coordinate with the internal marketing team to ensure timely execution and client satisfaction.
Proactively resolve client concerns and work towards client retention.
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional marketing services.
Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets while contributing to the company’s overall growth.
Requirements
1+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Client Servicing, or Account Management (Marketing/Advertising agency experience preferred).
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Strong relationship-building and client management abilities.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and confident in closing deals.
Ability to manage multiple client accounts efficiently.
Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace and CRM tools is an added advantage.
