Job Description: DevOps Engineer – AWS & Python

We are seeking a confident, curious, and motivated DevOps Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced cloud environment. The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver with excellent communication skills and hands-on experience building, operating, and securing scalable cloud infrastructure.

You will play a key role in shaping our cloud platforms, improving automation, and ensuring reliability, security, and performance across production systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, automate, maintain, and manage AWS production environments

• Ensure AWS systems are scalable, secure, and highly available

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across multiple applications and platforms

• Automate operational workflows through tool design and maintenance

• Lead engineering and operational support for cloud and enterprise installations

• Drive platform security initiatives in collaboration with core engineering teams

• Define and enforce CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) standards and best practices

Key Skills & Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• Strong experience as a DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in AWS services

• Proven experience managing cloud operations at scale

• Hands-on experience with AWS services and Kubernetes

• Strong proficiency in Python development

• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Ansible, CloudFormation, or Terraform

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Argo CD, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins

• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Datadog, and OpsGenie

• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL

• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Python, Go, or Rust

• Strong understanding of event messaging, networking, and distributed systems

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables

• Enthusiasm for continuous learning in an evolving technology environment
