Job Description
Core responsibilities:
Client Acquisition: Prospect, identify, and onboard new corporate shippers (importers and exporters).
Solution Design: Collaborate with pricing and operations teams to build customized logistics and trade lane strategies.
Quoting & Negotiation: Prepare commercial proposals, respond to Requests for Quotations (RFQs), and negotiate freight rates with clients and carriers.
Account Management: Oversee client relationships to ensure smooth cargo movement, handle escalations, and generate repeat business.
Pipeline Tracking: Maintain sales records, log activities, and track revenue forecasts using CRM software.
Key Requirements:
Experience: 2 to 8+ years in international logistics, supply chain, or business development.
Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of Inco-terms, customs clearance procedures, and cargo insurance.
Network: An established portfolio of corporate clients or a strong professional network in the region.
Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
The Experienced Candidate should already have some relevant business in hand for freight forwarding.
