Job Title: Hardware Networking Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Hardware Networking Engineer to design, implement, and manage our organization’s networking infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in network architecture and hardware components, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and optimize performance. This role plays a key part in ensuring seamless connectivity and supporting business operations through reliable and secure hardware networking solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.

• Monitor network performance and resolve hardware-related issues to ensure high availability and reliability.

• Collaborate with internal IT teams to integrate network hardware with existing systems and applications.

• Perform regular audits, upgrades, and maintenance of network infrastructure to meet evolving business requirements.

• Provide technical support and basic training to staff on hardware networking solutions.

• Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance network security and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Hardware Networking Engineer or in a similar role.

• Strong knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP, and related hardware components.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent are an added advantage.

• Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
