Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated PHP Backend Developer to join our development team. In this role, you will work on building new features and maintaining backend services that power our software applications and websites. The ideal candidate is passionate about coding, problem-solving, and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend features and services for web applications.

• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code using PHP and related technologies.

• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

• Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.

• Debug, test, and enhance existing functionality to ensure high-quality deliverables.

• Work closely with team members across development, testing, and deployment phases.

Required Skills & Expertise

• Hands-on experience with PHP and object-oriented web application development.

• Strong knowledge of MySQL with the ability to write optimized SQL queries and tune database performance.

• Working experience with HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, JSON (Angular is an added advantage).

• Experience with eCommerce platforms, payment gateway integrations, and third-party APIs (e.g., Google APIs).

• Familiarity with version control systems (Git or similar tools).

• Basic exposure to configuration management, testing, and deployment processes.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and a strong desire to learn and grow.
