Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate WordPress Developer with strong experience in building dynamic, high-performance websites using WordPress CMS. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in theme development, plugin customization, and writing clean, scalable code while following WordPress best practices and coding standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain WordPress CMS websites using industry best practices and standard plugins

• Work with WordPress at the PHP code level for customization and development

• Convert PSD/HTML/CSS designs into fully functional WordPress themes

• Develop and customize WordPress themes and theme frameworks

• Create custom post types, plugins, and widgets as per project requirements

• Ensure code is clean, logical, reusable, and well-documented

• Perform theme and template integration

• Manage and maintain WordPress Multisite (Network) setups when required

• Develop and customize WooCommerce-based websites

• Build multilingual websites where required

• Ensure web accessibility standards are maintained

• Address cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility issues

• Integrate and work with jQuery, AJAX, and related scripting libraries

Required Skills & Technical Expertise

• Strong experience in WordPress CMS development

• Good understanding of inbuilt WordPress functions and architecture

• Proficiency in PHP and MySQL

• Solid knowledge of HTML and CSS

• Experience with WooCommerce (preferred)

• Familiarity with WordPress Multisite (advantageous)

• Experience in creating multilingual websites (plus point)

• Understanding of web accessibility standards

• Working knowledge of jQuery, AJAX, and other JavaScript libraries

• Exposure to other CMS or eCommerce platforms is a plus
