Generative AI Engineer (Python)

We are seeking a skilled Generative AI Engineer with a strong Python background to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will combine backend engineering expertise with cutting-edge AI technologies to build impactful, scalable solutions. Roles & Responsibilities:

Generative AI Development

• Design, develop, and implement generative AI solutions using frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex
• Apply prompt engineering techniques to optimize LLM responses across diverse use cases
• Fine-tune and optimize LLM performance through prompt refinement, parameter tuning, and response caching
• Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, Supabase, or PGVector
• Work with embeddings and similarity search to enable intelligent, personalized query resolution
• Develop and process multimodal AI solutions involving text, images, and video
• Implement observability and monitoring tools to evaluate LLM performance and system reliability

Backend Engineering

• Build and maintain scalable backend systems using Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask
• Design and develop RESTful APIs for seamless system communication
• Optimize and manage relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) alongside vector databases for advanced AI workflows
• Implement asynchronous programming patterns and maintain clean, maintainable codebases
• Integrate third-party SDKs and APIs for robust interoperability
• Develop backend pipelines for multimodal data processing
• Manage background tasks using Celery, cron jobs, or similar job-queuing systems
• Use Docker and containerization tools for efficient, reproducible deployments

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong proficiency in Python with hands-on experience in FastAPI, Django, or Flask
• Experience with generative AI frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar tools
• Solid understanding of prompt engineering and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures
• Hands-on experience with relational databases and vector databases for embeddings and similarity search
• Familiarity with LLMs and multimodal AI applications (text, image, and video)
• Experience deploying AI systems in production using Docker
• Strong testing, debugging, and performance optimization skills
• Understanding of asynchronous programming for concurrent and scalable systems
