QA Engineer (Software Tester)

Experience Required: 1–5 Years

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in software testing and a deep understanding of QA methodologies and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing of web and mobile-based applications

• Understand project requirements and create detailed test cases accordingly

• Conduct various types of testing including Black Box, Regression, Smoke, API, Performance, and Responsive testing

• Test APIs and RESTful services to ensure seamless integration

• Execute cross-browser and cross-device testing using tools like BrowserStack and other platforms

• Identify, document, and track bugs using tools such as Jira, Mantis, and Google Docs

• Ensure browser compatibility, accessibility, security, and performance standards

• Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues and improve product quality

• Apply critical thinking and logical problem-solving to detect defects and ensure high-quality deliverables

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in software testing

• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes

• Technical understanding of web and mobile applications integrated with APIs and CMS platforms

• Experience in API and RESTful service testing

• Excellent test case writing and bug reporting skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Exposure to bug tracking tools and reporting processes

• Understanding of performance and security testing techniques

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
