Store Manager – Retail Stationery Store (Vasco)

Location: Vasco, Goa

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and responsible Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail stationery store. The ideal candidate should be a strong leader with excellent customer service skills, the ability to drive sales, and experience in managing retail operations.

Key Responsibilities

– Manage the day-to-day operations of the store.
– Lead, train, motivate, and supervise the store team.
– Ensure exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns promptly.
– Achieve monthly sales targets and maximize store profitability.
– Monitor stock levels, inventory, and coordinate timely replenishment.
– Ensure attractive product displays and maintain merchandising standards.
– Oversee billing, cash handling, and daily sales reporting.
– Maintain cleanliness, store discipline, and operational efficiency.
– Prepare staff duty rosters, monitor attendance, and ensure punctuality.
– Prevent stock losses through proper inventory control and regular stock audits.
– Coordinate with the warehouse and head office for smooth store operations.
– Ensure compliance with company policies and standard operating procedures.
– Analyze sales performance and suggest ideas to improve revenue.

Requirements

– Minimum 3–5 years of experience in retail, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
– Strong leadership and team management skills.
– Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
– Good knowledge of inventory management and retail operations.
– Basic computer knowledge and experience with billing/POS software.
– Ability to work under pressure and achieve business targets.
– Honest, disciplined, proactive, and result-oriented.
