Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented SEO Intern to join our Digital Marketing team. This role is ideal for someone with a basic understanding of SEO who is eager to learn modern optimization techniques, tools, and strategies.

As an SEO Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in improving website rankings, conducting keyword research, optimizing content, and analyzing performance metrics across real-time projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research using tools like Google Keyword Planner, Ubersuggest, Ahrefs, or similar platforms

• Assist with on-page SEO activities including meta tags, header tags, image optimization, and internal linking

• Support in creating and optimizing SEO-friendly website content

• Perform competitor analysis to identify keyword and content gaps

• Monitor website performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console

• Assist with technical SEO audits (crawl errors, broken links, page speed, mobile usability, etc.)

• Support off-page SEO efforts including link-building outreach and directory submissions

• Prepare regular SEO performance reports

• Stay updated with the latest SEO trends and Google algorithm updates

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Mass Communication, IT, or a related field

• SEO certification preferred

Preferred Skills

• Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing concepts

• Knowledge of how search engines rank websites

• Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs (preferred)

• Good writing and communication skills

• Strong research and analytical abilities

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
