Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven SEO Team Lead to manage and scale our SEO operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of SEO specialists, developing data-driven strategies, and driving measurable growth in organic traffic, rankings, and conversions.

This role requires strong leadership skills, technical SEO expertise, and the ability to collaborate across content, development, and marketing teams.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of SEO executives and specialists

• Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies aligned with company goals

• Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities

• Collaborate with content creators, designers, and developers to implement SEO best practices

• Monitor and analyze website performance metrics including organic traffic, rankings, and conversions

• Perform regular website audits to identify and resolve technical SEO issues

• Develop and manage effective link-building strategies to improve domain authority

• Track competitor performance and industry trends to refine strategies

• Work closely with marketing and product teams to integrate SEO into campaigns and new initiatives

• Prepare regular performance reports and present insights to management and clients

• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure SEO deliverables meet expectations

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (advanced degree is a plus)

• Minimum 2+ years of proven experience in SEO, with team leadership experience preferred

• Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and technical SEO

• Hands-on experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, etc.

• Expertise in on-page and off-page optimization strategies

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to convert data into actionable insights

• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities

• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects

• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website development principles (preferred)

• Understanding of content marketing and its integration with SEO

• SEO certifications are an added advantage
