What You’ll Do
Manage, optimize, and secure SQL databases in the cloud, ensuring high availability and performance.
Design and implement scalable database structures in AWS and GCP environments.
Plan and execute data migrations from on-premises or legacy systems to the cloud.
Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and fine-tune queries and indexes for efficiency.
Implement security protocols including encryption, access controls, and compliance measures.
Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data integrity.
Perform regular maintenance tasks like patching, updates, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and data engineers to support application development.
Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across distributed systems.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in database management.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience as a SQL Database Administrator with expertise in AWS and GCP.
Strong knowledge of SQL database design, implementation, and optimization.
Experience with data migration to cloud environments.
Proficiency in performance monitoring and query optimization.
Knowledge of database security protocols and compliance regulations.
Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery strategies.
