Tech Lead Node.js

looking for an experienced Tech Lead – Node.js to join our team and drive the development of high-performance backend applications. As a technical leader, you will guide the development team, architect scalable solutions, and ensure the delivery of clean, efficient, and secure code across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate development tasks, offering technical guidance to ensure on-time sprint delivery.

• Identify blockers and risks, communicating them effectively to managers for quick resolution.

• Write clean, efficient, reusable code and review code written by team members.

• Develop low-latency, high-performance server-side components and RESTful services.

• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and cross-functional teams to improve processes and infrastructure.

• Implement best practices, design patterns, and the latest coding standards.

• Integrate multiple data sources and databases into unified systems.

• Set up effective authentication and authorization mechanisms across systems and environments.

• Utilize tools and monitoring systems to proactively identify and resolve defects.

• Implement robust security protocols and data protection measures.

• Stay updated with modern development trends, sharing insights and improvements with the team.

Skills & Qualifications

• Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript and strong proficiency in Node.js and related frameworks.

• Strong understanding of REST architecture and microservices-based development.

• Deep knowledge of asynchronous programming, Promises, callback patterns, and ways to avoid callback hell.

• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized environments.

• Familiarity with MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and other NoSQL data stores (Redis experience is a plus).

• Experience with RESTful services, SOA, and scalable application design principles.

• Knowledge of cloud messaging APIs, push notifications, and real-time communication patterns.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Experience with Couchbase or other NoSQL technologies.

• Agile mindset with experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.

• Proficiency with Git and version control best practices.

• Basic understanding of CI/CD and DevOps pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).

• Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
