Position Overview
Job Title: Chartered Accountant (CA)

Reports To: Director / Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Employment Type: Full-Time
Job Purpose
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Chartered Accountant to manage and oversee the company’s accounting, taxation, financial reporting, compliance, audit coordination, and financial planning activities. The role requires strong expertise in financial management, statutory compliance, taxation, SAP operations, and business financial controls to support the organization’s growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Accounting & Reporting
Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Monitor General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets, and Bank Reconciliations.
Prepare Management Information System (MIS) reports for management review.
Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations for improving profitability and operational efficiency.
2. Taxation & Statutory Compliance
Ensure timely filing and compliance of GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, and other statutory requirements.
Handle tax assessments, notices, appeals, and departmental audits.
Monitor changes in tax laws and ensure company compliance.
Coordinate with consultants, tax authorities, and regulatory agencies.
3. Audit & Internal Controls
Lead statutory, internal, tax, and cost audits.
Prepare schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documents required by auditors.
Develop and strengthen internal financial controls and accounting processes.
Ensure compliance with Companies Act and other applicable regulations.
4. SAP & Financial Systems Management
Utilize SAP FICO for accounting, reporting, and financial controls.
Ensure accuracy of financial transactions recorded in SAP.
Coordinate with users and consultants for system improvements and reporting requirements.
Drive process automation and operational efficiency through SAP.
5. Budgeting, Cash Flow & Financial Planning
Prepare annual budgets and forecasts.
Monitor budget utilization and conduct variance analysis.
Manage cash flow planning and working capital requirements.
Support management in strategic financial decision-making.
6. Interdepartmental Coordination
Coordinate with Sales, Procurement, Stores, HR, Production, and Operations teams for smooth financial processes.
Monitor receivables, vendor payments, inventory valuation, and cost controls.
Support business teams with financial data and commercial insights.
7. Team Management
Guide and supervise accounts staff.
Allocate work and monitor team performance.
Conduct training and ensure adherence to accounting procedures and compliance requirements.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
Educational Qualification
Mandatory: Chartered Accountant (CA)
Additional qualifications such as MBA (Finance), or ICWA will be an added advantage.
Experience
Minimum 3–10 years of post-qualification experience in Finance & Accounts.
Experience in manufacturing, engineering, infrastructure, or project-based industries preferred.
Strong exposure to taxation, audits, financial reporting, and SAP environment.

Timely closure of month-end and year-end accounts.
Improvement in receivables collection and vendor payment management.
Efficient utilization of SAP and process automation initiatives.
