Job Description

Telecom Engineer (Part-Time)About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Telecom Engineer to help build and maintain a reliable communication infrastructure for our sales department. The specialist will be responsible for selecting, configuring, and supporting IP telephony solutions, integrating communication tools with business systems, and ensuring stable operation of all telecom services.
This is a part-time, office-based position.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement IP telephony solutions for the sales team.
Configure and maintain VoIP systems, SIP trunks, PBX platforms, and telecom equipment.
Set up call routing, IVR menus, call recording, queues, and other call center functions.
Integrate telephony systems with CRM and other business applications.
Monitor telecom infrastructure performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
Ensure high availability and quality of voice communication services.
Manage telecom vendors and service providers.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and operating procedures.
Provide technical support and training to internal users when required.
Recommend and implement improvements to optimize communication processes.
Requirements3+ years of experience in telecommunications, VoIP, or IP telephony engineering.
Strong knowledge of SIP, VoIP, PBX, and telecommunication protocols.
Experience with cloud and on-premise telephony platforms.
Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, routing, switching).
Experience integrating telephony systems with CRM platforms.
Ability to diagnose and resolve telecom-related incidents independently.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and ability to work with business stakeholders.
Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting sales teams or contact centers.
Knowledge of call analytics and reporting tools.
Experience with telecom security and compliance best practices.
Relevant telecom or networking certifications.
Employment ConditionsPart-time position (approximately 20 hours per week).
Office-based work.
Flexible schedule by agreement.
